OneSpace Manager 13.00 clients, libraries and servers are available for:

AMD 64 and Intel IA32e processors are supported running Windows XP Professional. All data management components run as 32 bit applications on Windows computers, including 64 bit processors like AMD 64 and Intel IA32e.

OneSpace Manager 13 is the last OneSpace Manager release to support Solaris. The next major version of OneSpace Manager will not support Solaris.

For comparison with OneSpace Manager 12, those items which are new in OneSpace Manager 13.00 are flagged in blue bold text , while those that were in 12 but will not be included in 13.00 are flagged in ~~red strike-through text~~ . Those items which remain unchanged from 12 to 13.00 are in black.

OneSpace Manager is not tested or certified on virtual machines, such as those provided by products like VirtualPC or VMware.

OneSpace Manager is not tested or certified on Itanium processors for either HP-UX or Windows.

OneSpace Manager will not support software on an operating system that is not supported by the supplier. CoCreate recommends that customers review the life cycle of their operating system. If the operating system is planned for obsolescence, then customers should plan to migrate to a supported operating system.

Operating System Service Packs, Patches, and Hot Fixes

CoCreate releases software tested on the latest patch level available at time of the release.
In general, CoCreate system requirement specifications define a minimum service pack or patch level and expect its software products to not be affected by more recent operating system patches issued by Microsoft. Correct functioning on new patches issued by Microsoft cannot be guaranteed though. CoCreate's response to potential incompatibilities of this nature is to attempt the removal of those incompatibilities as timely as possible in one of the next patch, service pack or major revisions of our products.

Schema Support

OneSpace Manager 13.00 can connect to a OneSpace Manager database server and schema from OneSpace Manager 12.00 or later. It is not supported with any earlier schema or database server.

Design Data Management

This support matrix covers Design Data Management with OneSpace Designer Drafting 13.00 and OneSpace Designer Modeling 13.00

Design Data Management 13.00 supports the same configurations as OneSpace Manager 13.00 except that integrations to OneSpace Designer Modeling and OneSpace Designer Drafting are only available for the OSM supported Win32 and HP-UX platforms.

As part of the SAP Software Lifecycle, beginning on 1 January 2004 SAP will only support versions prior to 4.6C with extended maintenance. CoCreate has dropped support for these versions of SAP.

¹ The Model Manager product includes 2 Model Manager licenses. Both licenses are pulled when you start Model Manager: One is specifically for Model Manager, and one is reserved for running Drawing Manager concurrently on the same computer. When run concurrently, Drawing Manager will not pull an additional license.

Web Services licenses are generated dynamically by MEls upon first access to the Web Service, where the quantity of licenses available is derived from the number of Model Manager, Drawing Manager, and Project Data Manager products configured in MEls.

License Bundles

OneSpace Designer Model Manager licenses also enable Drawing Manager when Drawing Manager is run on the same computer as Model Manager. This license bundle is enabled by setting an environment variable before the user starts Drafting (HP-UX and Windows), or by setting the same variable in the me10.ini file (Windows). That variable is:

MEBUNDLEKEY=1

Drawing Manager will not use a license bundle when Drafting is started with -bundlekey as a command line argument. It will only use a license bundle if MEBUNDLEKEY=1 is set in the environment or in the me10.ini file.
