OneSpace Designer Drafting Versions supported on HP-UX

OneSpace Designer Drafting version 10.00 and later versions use shared libraries linked to the code. This means that ME10 version 10.00 and later releases (OneSpace Designer Drafting) are only supported under their specific release of HP-UX.

All references to OneSpace Designer Drafting are "for reference only" .

Use this matrix to find out which version of HP-UX you'll need to install on a specific workstation for a specific version of ME10 or OneSpace Designer Drafting.

System Requirements

HP Workstations

The following HP workstations are supported as from OneSpace Designer Drafting 10.00
Note that if a Visualize fx 2/4/6 is fitted only ME10 version  8.5 was supported.

From OSDD version 11.60 all HP workstations of C,B and J class capable of running HP-UX 11.0 or 11.11 OS are supported. Since HP does not support HP-UX 11.xx on older systems/graphic boards, this automatically means that from 11.60 onwards OSDD is not supported on those systems either.

From OSDD version 13.00 all HP workstations of C,B and J class capable of running HP-UX 11.11 OS are supported. Since HP does not support HP-UX 11.11 on older systems/graphic boards, this automatically means that from 13.00 onwards OSDD is not supported on those systems either.

Visualize EG Graphic Card

Note that OneSpace Designer Drafting is NOT supported together with the Visualize EG Graphic card on the B1000, C3000, and J5000 machines.

Common Desktop Environment

The Common Desktop Environment (CDE) is supported by OneSpace Designer Drafting.

Supported Graphicboards

The following table gives you an overview of the currently supported graphics devices. It also helps you to determine which version of OneSpace Designer Drafting supports the respective graphics device.

For the new monitors, only the resolution 1280x1024 is currently supported. This is independent of the size (17"x19") of the monitor.
